Notes
The Crimson seedless is a late variety obtained by David Ramming and Ron Tarailo at the University of Fresno – California. It was put on the market in 1989.
AMPELOGRAPHIC CHARACTERS
The bunch is medium-sized with a weight of 500 - 600 gr., pyramid-shaped, loose; elongated berries that are light red in colour. Particularly impressive is the crisp, firm texture of the berries with a very good taste.
CULTIVATION CHARACTERS
Very vigorous vine, prefers deep and fertile soils, it doesn’t tolerate nitrogenous fertilizers. It needs long pruning, the harvesting is also good by using the spur-pruning. It doesn’t tollerate the powder-mildew.
PRODUCTION AND RIPENESS
Good production, as years go it could be necessary to reduce the quantity of the bunches on the plant.
The ripeness is late.
