Notes
It originates from Anatolia (Turkey); it was exported in Greece in remote times. Today it is one of the earliest seedless varieties mostly diffused.

AMPELOGRAPHIC CHARACTERS
The bunch is middle-big, conical, compact, sometimes winged. The grape is yellow, medium size, seedless, with an oval shape; the peel is thin and resistant, the pulp is crisp and plump, sweet flavoured.

CULTIVATION CHARACTERS
This is a vine with a really good vigour but not much fertility. It prefers big forms of growing it adapts itself to be covered in advance and it prefers vigorous rootstocks (113P, 140Ru, 779P etc.). It is one of the most interesting seedless vine.

PRODUCTION AND RIPENESS
The fertility is low and as a consequence the production too (about 10kilos of grapes per vine). But the quality of grapes produced is really good; so it can be sold at a high price. The ripening is really early, about during the 3rd decade of July but it may come earlier if grapes are produced under covering.
