Notes
It has unknown origins, but it’s cultivated all over Italy, especially in the central-southern part of Italy.

AMPELOGRAPHIC CHARACTERS
The bunch is medium-big, with a cylindrical-conical form, having close or half close grapes, rarely winged; the grape is medium-big, more or less oval, with a pruinose, thick, consistent yellow coloured peel.

CULTIVATION CHARACTERS
It prefers calcareous and not very clay soils, it’s suitable to hot and dry climates. The training system it prefers the most is that of “tendone”, with medium-long pruning. Generally it has a good resistance to most vine diseases except for Botritis especially in rainy autumns.

PRODUCTION AND VINTAGE
The production is abundant and constant in any form of plant breeding. The ripening begins at the middle of September.

WINE CHARACTERS
The wine has a pale yellow colour, very sweet refined smell. Its taste is intense and fresh, a little astringent.
