In our country the greatest newness in the table vine-growing is the attempt to introduce seedless varieties in big quantities, because of the importance given by the consumer to this characteristic.
Forwardness arouses a great interest too, as the possibilities of early grapes sale are by far better; no less important are the qualitative requisites of grapes which are the regular look of the bunch, the big size and the uniformity of the grapes, the coloration of the peel; the taste qualities demanded are the seedless, the sweet taste (good relationship between sugars and acids of the juice), the aromatic qualities, the crispness and juiciness of the grape, the peel is not leathery; moreover the resistance to transports and a long-life conservation are well appreciated.
